Glass Project:
“Our Mosaic”
Students created individual glass tiles to combine together to form a mosaic sculpture inspired by
the American Artist, Dominick Labino “Vitrana” on exhibit in the Glass Pavilion, Toledo Museum of Art. The students work were part of a student visual art exhibit on display at the Center for Visual Arts, student art gallery. Students created the glass tiles from cut squares of clear and colored glass. The firing process was completed at the Toledo Museum's Glass Pavilion.
A Special Thank You to Amanda Flemming for teaching us the process of working with glass and making this project possible.
